There’s something very special about narration – guiding a listener through a story, a documentary, or a piece of visual storytelling with just the right tone and pacing. I love the way narration weaves everything together – emphasising key moments, supporting the visuals and helping the audience stay engaged and connected throughout.
Narration builds bridges
Sometimes I’m the omniscient voice, with insight into every corner of the story. Other times, I’m the quiet thread that makes sense of what’s unfolding on screen, bringing coherence, context and continuity. The tone is everything; it shapes how the message lands and how the audience feels.
Narration is human
Narration adds warmth, clarity and depth, bringing emotion into the frame and helping the viewer feel what you want them to feel. Paired with music and visuals, a carefully delivered voiceover doesn’t just support the story, it amplifies it.
